You will, of course, spend most of your time working in IT during your apprenticeship.
To enable you to gain a more detailed insight, you will also have the opportunity to work in the following departments for a few weeks:
- Order processing
- Financial accounting
- SMD production
At Hilscher, you will therefore spend your apprenticeship in different departments – variety is guaranteed.
At our company, you will be involved in the day-to-day business right from the start and play an active role. Our colleagues will pass on all their expert knowledge to you in step with actual practice and are always on hand to help with any questions. At the start of your apprenticeship you will gain a thorough knowledge of networks and then be taught how to install and configure complex hardware and software components. As an IT specialist for systems integration, you are an important member of staff, as you will ensure that IT works throughout our organisation. Moreover, you will learn to work as part of a team and to take responsibility.
You will have the benefit of our flexitime working model with set core hours. You don’t need to worry about the costs of your textbooks, as we will meet those for you. In addition, you will be prepared for your interim and final examination with an internal preparatory examination.
Your apprenticeship will take 3 years, although if you perform well in vocational school and in the company, you could shorten the training period to 2½ years. During the apprenticeship, we will note which departments or task areas you are most suitable for, so that at the end of the appren-ticeship we will discuss in which department you can start your career, together with you.
You will attend vocational school alongside your apprenticeship that will prepare you for your interim and final written examination. We have been working successfully with the Brühlwiesen school in Hofheim for a number of years.
We are looking for outgoing, bright individuals with a thirst for knowledge, who see their future in the IT field. Our junior employees should count initiative, the ability to work well as part of a team, reliability and attention to detail among their personal qualities. You should enjoy new challenges and meet them with motivation, be happy to have a laugh and tackle work with enthusiasm.
To be accepted for the apprenticeship, we expect you to have successfully completed a vocational qualification for university entrance with good grades in maths, German and English.
Then take the first step towards a promising future and email your application to our contact in the HR department. For us, an informative application will include a covering letter, your CV and the latest educational certificates and job experience or possibly even work references.
We look forward to receiving your application.
