netX 90 and netRAPID 90 are CC-Link IE Field Basic certified
Hattersheim, 16. May 2023 – The communication controller netX 90 and the embedded module netRAPID 90 of the Hilscher Gesellschaft für Systemautomation mbH have been officially certified by the CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) for the CC-Link IE Field Basic Slave protocol. By adding this new certification, the specialist for industrial communication underlines the multi-protocol capability of its solutions, making it easier for device manufacturers’ to enter the Asian automation market.
CC-Link IE Field Basic is a 100Mbit/s-based protocol, especially for small systems, and provides easy entry into the CC-Link IE technology family. It can be used to integrate a wide variety of field devices, from sensors to robotic components, into an industrial communication network. Originally developed by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, CC-Link is widely used in the Japanese and Asian markets.
About netX 90
The netX 90 communication controller, on which the embedded module netRAPID 90 is also based, is the smallest multiprotocol SoC with an integrated application processor on the automation market. Its high integration density, optimized performance and improved power dissipation make it perfect for industrial applications with small form factors.
With the official CLPA certification for our CC-Link IE Field Basic technology we’ve strengthened and once again demonstrated the multi-protocol capability of our netX 90.
