Hattersheim, 16. May 2023 – The communication controller netX 90 and the embedded module netRAPID 90 of the Hilscher Gesellschaft für Systemautomation mbH have been officially certified by the CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) for the CC-Link IE Field Basic Slave protocol. By adding this new certification, the specialist for industrial communication underlines the multi-protocol capability of its solutions, making it easier for device manufacturers’ to enter the Asian automation market.
CC-Link IE Field Basic is a 100Mbit/s-based protocol, especially for small systems, and provides easy entry into the CC-Link IE technology family. It can be used to integrate a wide variety of field devices, from sensors to robotic components, into an industrial communication network. Originally developed by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, CC-Link is widely used in the Japanese and Asian markets.
