Our Sales International team is looking for an Area Sales Manager EMEA to help us in this role.

You are a strategist

You’re well versed in and enjoy the challenges of developing and implementing national market strategies. You’ll work closely with our European sales companies and international partners in the EMEA area.

… Networker

You’ll be the primary contact person for all sales-related concerns for our sales companies and the company headquarters. It’s your job to ensure that the network communicates efficiently.

… Analyst

Based on market and customer potential analysis, it’s your job to implement the key points of the company and sales strategy for the respective country.

… Coordinator and communicator

You’ll acquire and support direct customers and key accounts in the countries on a strategic and operational level. You’ll coordinate activities such as annual planning and forecasting. In close cooperation with partner, product and project management, you’ll develop the business in the countries under your responsibility. You’ll participate at trade fairs and events. It’s your job to initiate sales campaigns. You keep the International Sales Manager up to date.

 

We propagate Hilscher’s DNA around the world. Our Sales International team is responsible for over 50% of total sales. We work as a team independently and cooperatively. The close cooperation with many different partners such as key account managers, project and product management, distributors and branch offices keeps things interesting and offers a lot of variety. We also work on many exciting company-wide projects and look forward to tackling them together with you. We’re counting on your commitment and ideas!

The Hilscher Sales International Team

Formal qualifications

You have a degree or formal training in a STEM field with a commercial background, or a comparable qualification. You have practical expertise and relevant professional experience in the field of automation technology, and you’re already very familiar with the sales business from experience.

Day-to-day activities

You’re available to travel. 30–40% of your work time will be on the road. You have good organization skills and excellent communication skills; you’re confident in all situations arising in day-to-day sales.

Soft skills

When it matters most, you can think analytically and strategically and act in like manner. You work well independently. You can be assertive and are results-oriented. You’re customer oriented and think in terms of solutions – everything else follows.

Computer skills

You’re skilled in MS Office programs. You’re also well versed in sales-specific software such as Salesforce and Microsoft Business Central, or comparable tools.
