Hilscher – empowering communication

With growth rates that are in some cases significantly higher than the European average, the CEE markets are extremely interesting for manufacturing companies," explains Selim Kuljici, Managing Director of Hilscher Austria GmbH. "As a result of economic progress, we expect the automation of production processes to increase in this market - along with the challenges for users. We therefore clearly recognize the growing need of our customers there for flexible and multi-protocol capable communication solutions such as our netX communication controllers.

By expanding its direct sales territory to Central and Eastern European countries, Hilscher Austria will approach the market more actively and increase its presence. Hilscher's customers will be able to gain important knowledge about flexible industrial communication through direct cooperation. The know-how built up will help machine builders, device manufacturers and system integrators to develop new business models and enable production systems to communicate efficiently with each other. "Thanks to my background, I can even provide many users with information in their own language. This is compelling and also builds bridges between different cultures, which ultimately benefits everyone," explains Hilscher Austria Managing Director Kuljici.

Hilscher's expansion in Eastern Europe will be accompanied by the appointment of Selim Kuljici, B.Sc. (FH), as Managing Director of Hilscher Austria GmbH. Kuljici joined Hilscher in Austria at the end of 2021 and was Head of Sales there until recently. Previously, the expert worked for Austrian automation company KEBA and logi.cals, among others.
