Welcome to one of the most successful solution providers and technology suppliers for communication solutions in industrial automation.

Our more than 300 employees in Germany, Europe, the US and Asia work professionally and with enjoyment to ensure that our PC cards, gateways, OEM plug-in modules or ASICs are used by leading companies across the globe to communicate between automation devices and controls. Our many years’ experience and considerable innovation, combined with the team spirit of all our colleagues, have made us a world leader with our portfolio of solutions for field buses and Real-Time Ethernet.

And that’s not all… for almost 20 years, we have been a provider of chip solutions for real-time Ethernet and are expanding even further in this area.

To further develop our business and to strengthen our online marketing campaigns and online presence in social media at our site in Hattersheim am Main for the earliest possible start date, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager (m/f/d).

What will your job involve?

  • You will be part of our Product Management Team and be responsible as the Product Manager for the product family netX and netIOL.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for the entire product life cycle and the corresponding measures for the commercial marketing and continuous maintenance of the supported products in the market
  • You will create the product vision (product definition incl. requirement profile, product roadmap), form the interface with users and define applications and functional extensions for the netX product family, e.g. in the direction of motor control, functional safety or cloud systems, machine learning or security.
  • You will consolidate market requirements for our future chip products and be in close contact with partners and key customers.
  • To evaluate the product proposals, you will create a business plan (including product market analysis with competitive comparison, sales analyses, target group definition, price definition, cost/profit calculation and risk assessment).
  • Classic product management tasks such as market launch planning, product marketing activities and product maintenance are just as much a part of this as the implementation of training courses (internal/external), participation in trade fairs and events and sales support.
  • The role includes many interfaces with other functions in the company, such as support, development or sales, so transparency and good communication are an important part of your work.

What will be expected of me?

  • You will have successfully completed a degree in the field of electrical engineering or industrial engineering with a focus on semiconductors / microelectronics or comparable studies.
  • Min. 5 years of experience in semiconductor product management, previous experience in the industrial environment and especially real-time Ethernet is desirable.
  • Independent, structured, and responsible working methodology
  • Agile thinker who is able to assimilate complex and technically demanding subject matter quickly
  • Team player with very good communication skills
  • Office environment, agile methods and tools
  • Very good written and spoken business German and English

What’s on offer?

  • 0% boredom: exciting tasks in a young, technically focused company
  • 100% planning reliability: an open-ended employment contract with attractive terms and conditions
  • Team spirit: a motivated team, with experienced, open-minded and helpful co-workers
  • Continuing education: available (and desired!) at any time by way of training days, library, webinars etc., as well as by learning from experienced colleagues and passing on your own knowledge
  • Many benefits: flexitime, adequate parking spaces, good public transport links, various shopping facilities nearby, coffee, tea and water free of charge, a range of sports on offer, flu jab, a subsidized midday meal, casual week, and lots more
  • And it is important not to underestimate that Hilscher is a family business through and through. We place value on personal contact, and promote an open-minded, performance-orientated and employee-focused management culture.

Are you on the lookout for a company at the forefront of technology and innovation that will push you to new heights and promote you in the long term? Then apply now and become part of our team! We are not looking for career types, who prefer to work with their elbows, rather than their head, but colleagues who enjoy challenges, like to have a laugh from time to time, and join in with commitment.
