Our Purchasing Team in Hattersheim am Main is looking for a Buyer for Indirect Materials & Services (m/f/d).

  • Independent execution and monitoring of procurement activities
  • Interface function with internal and external stakeholders
  • Optimization and digitalization of procurement processes
  • Selection, qualification, and evaluation of existing and new suppliers, as well as market analysis
  • Further development and optimization of existing supplier relationships, considering changing market conditions
  • Monitoring of supply chains and active risk management
  • Price and contract negotiations for key commodity groups (framework and service agreements)
  • Identification and implementation of cost-saving potentials
  • Development and definition of the strategic direction for key commodity groups and their operational implementation
  • Product category management
  • Execution of various procurement projects
  • Ideally, you have knowledge and professional experience in the mentioned field and have successfully completed vocational training as an industrial clerk or hold a degree in business administration
  • At least three years of professional experience with a focus on purchasing / procurement / supply chain
  • You are a team player and work analytically, carefully, and reliably, with a high level of independence and a solution-oriented mindset
  • You have strong MS Office skills as well as experience working with ERP systems
  • You are motivated to make an impact, are interested in our products, and enjoy working with people
  • You have very good German skills and a basic command of English
  • Flat hierarchies as well as innovative and exciting topics in a high-tech company
