empowering communication

The planning of modern production processes is becoming increasingly complex in the face of advancing digitalization. We're ready to help you with the integration of all your components and networks.

Planners

Take advantage of modern communication solutions

Networking and the ever expanding reach of IoT data collection are becoming more and more important when designing modern and future-oriented production facilities. When analyzed efficiently, the resulting data pools contain enormous potential in lowering your operating costs and consequently in increasing your competitive edge. This requires a natural interaction between man and machine, which is the essential underlying philosophy. We offer proven solutions engineered to work harmoniously with one another for every kind of industrial communication application. Our portfolio of products and services helps you address industry-specific challenges from the OT to the cloud.

Challenges in planning modern communication networks

Reliability

Problems with communication components often result in machine downtimes and thus expensive production downtimes for your customers. Trust Hilscher as your partner. Our products have a proven track record across several different industries in communicating reliably for decades. Use our technology even in the planning stages to reduce your end customers' operational costs caused by unplanned downtimes.

Remote Management

The right solutions for every application

Business benefits thanks to proven and innovative communication solutions

With our multi-protocol cifX PC cards we have a broad portfolio for a wide range of applications for fieldbus and Real-Time Ethernet communication. In addition to common formats such as PCI or PCIe, specific form factors like CompactPCI or PC/104, we also carry the smallest multi-protocol capable cards on the automation market, the compact M.2 format. Whether M12 connectors, extended temperature range, dual-channel cards or remote network interfaces, numerous hardware options also offer the right solution for your production facility planning. Our standard gateways, which are also based on our multi-protocol netX-SoCs, also serve as data converters for flexible fieldbus and Real-Time Ethernet conversions.

Your customers will be able to collect extensive data from their OT devices using our powerful edge gateways. Via Docker applications they can process their data locally or transfer them to a cloud instance. Our netFIELD Cloud with its user-friendly interface provides you with a wide range of containerized applications as a service. This allows you to remotely manage your IoT devices and deploy your own applications globally.

With our netFIELD IO-Link Wireless Master, you can also connect up to 16 IO-Link devices bidirectionally in fieldbus or Real-Time Ethernet networks. An OPC UA server and an MQTT client are also integrated into the rugged IP67 device for IoT connectivity. The device enables your customers to aggregate, diagnose, and configure data in demanding environments independent of their network. We also offer the device as a white-label product for your own rebranding.

By integrating our netMIRROR as a permanent test access point (TAP), you're able to mirror Ethernet traffic without affecting the network. Your customers can connect a diagnostic device without interrupting operation, minimizing downtimes and increasing profitability.

Your advantages with our solutions at a glance:

  • Gain access to our extensive and proven know-how
