The comX 90 communication module has been designed for integration into field devices to provide network connectivity, for example, to drives or robots. All communication tasks are executed autonomously within the module – independently of the processor of the target device.

Process data is exchanged via an SPI interface. The embedded module combines integrated hardware and software components to meet the requirements of IEC 62443, thereby significantly enhancing cybersecurity at the field level.

comX supports all leading Real-Time Ethernet protocols in slave mode and meets all network-specific requirement within a single module. To support a line topology, the module has two Ethernet ports. To switch protocols quickly and reliably, simply load the corresponding firmware.

The integrated Hilscher netX SoC ensures a 10-year delivery guarantee.
