SEMITRON and Hilscher announce strategic partnership to strengthen market presence in the DACH region
Hattersheim, 23. Okt. 2024 – Hilscher, a market leader in industrial communication solutions, and SEMITRON, a leading distributor of electronic components and testing services, have entered into a strategic partnership. This collaboration will significantly increase the availability of the multiprotocol netX communication controllers and the netX-based netRAPID modules for industrial users. Customers will also benefit from even faster and more comprehensive support. By working together on joint projects, both companies will increase their reach and open up new market segments, particularly in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH).
Demands for solutions in highly automated production environments are constantly growing. Systems must become more flexible and faster while adhering to new standards and regulations. As a result, there is a growing need to provide users with comprehensive and expert support in implementing their projects, in order to make the best use of technologies, both technically and commercially.

The company SEMITRON W. Röck GmbH was founded in 1975 by Dipl.-Ing. Werner Röck and has a nationwide presence with external offices in Böblingen, Quickborn, Nuremberg, and Bad Zurzach, Switzerland. With its unique combination of distribution and test house services, it holds a distinctive position in Germany. In January 2001, the test house was outsourced to the newly constructed SEMITRON facility 2, which offers 4,000 m² of usable space. In 2018, a newly built facility 3 was added, providing an additional 4,000 m². A year later, SEMITRON's distribution operations were moved to facility 3, and facility 1 was repurposed as a training center.
