As Head of Global Marketing, you will lead and orchestrate our global marketing organization, spanning the HQ team and local marketing functions across EMEA, AMERICAS, and APAC. You are the hub, the pacesetter, and the bridge-builder between brand, technology, product, campaigns, events, digital touchpoints, content, press, CRM, and marketing automation.

You will take over a globally established marketing organization that has been built successfully and operates in a stable, internationally connected way. A strong foundation is already in place – now we're looking for you to carry it forward, deliver strong campaigns and communication, further strengthen global collaboration, and take Hilscher's external presence worldwide to the next level.

Together with the CSMO, Product Management, Sales, the global Sales Units, local marketers, and Managing Directors, you will ensure that Hilscher becomes as visible worldwide as its technological strength deserves: Innovative, driven, expert, and inspiring.

Lead and develop the global marketing organization

  • You lead a Global Marketing team of around 6 employees directly, and additionally provide functional guidance to around 8 local marketing functions across EMEA, AMERICAS, and APAC.
  • You continuously develop Global Marketing, its processes, and the interplay between the HQ team and local marketing roles, including all processes, tools, and infrastructure.
  • You set clear guidelines, responsibilities, and frameworks so the teams can work with focus, autonomy, and strong performance.
  • You are a sparring partner, coach, and point of orientation for your team – giving impetus and rolling up your sleeves wherever it matters for quality, speed, or impact.
  • You foster a marketing culture that is creative, data-driven, international, reliable, and execution-strong.
  • You bring intercultural competence to the role and ensure that global standards and local market requirements come together well.

Strategy, governance, and scaling

  • You further develop the global marketing strategy in alignment with the CMO and translate it into clear priorities, roadmaps, and initiatives.
  • You lead the globally established marketing organization and develop it further together with the teams in a targeted way.
  • You identify process gaps, friction, and areas for improvement – and, together with the teams, drive concrete solutions.
  • You ensure that brand, corporate identity, messaging, campaign logic, and global standards are implemented consistently.
  • You lead global exchange formats such as Quarterly Marketing Reviews with Global and Local Marketing, moderate priorities, and make progress visible.
  • Together with all stakeholders, you ensure that collaboration with agencies, service providers, and business partners runs professionally, in partnership, and results-oriented.

Campaigns, funnel, and marketing automation

  • You are responsible for the further development of our global campaign approach – from strategic core themes through to local activation.
  • You work closely with Sales and Product Management, acting as a bridge-builder between market, product, brand, and demand generation.
  • You bring experience with CRM, marketing automation, lead management, customer journeys, and marketing/sales processes.
  • You help make campaigns more measurable, scalable, and effective through best practices, structures, and clear processes.
  • You strengthen a data-driven way of working and ensure that marketing activities are evaluated and optimized along the marketing and sales funnel.
  • You make visible the contribution marketing makes to awareness, demand, leads, sales enablement, and company growth.

Brand, content, and external presence

  • You are the central hub for Hilscher's external presence and ensure that our company is perceived worldwide the way it truly is: innovative, technologically strong, reliable, and forward-looking.
  • You steer central marketing areas including Product Marketing, Campaigns, Events, Digital Touchpoints, Website, SEO, Social Media, Newsletter, Content, PR, Ads, Sponsoring, Photo, Video, Graphics, Design, Brand, CI/CD, UI/UX, and employer-branding interfaces.
  • You ensure that Hilscher presents itself consistently, at a high standard, and in a modern way across all channels.
  • Together with your team, you develop strong campaigns, messages, and formats for a high-performing product portfolio.
  • On selected core topics, you also contribute content-wise – acting as a sparring partner for positioning, messaging, narrative, and impact.
  • You skillfully orchestrate our in-house capabilities and collaboration with external partners in the interest of efficiency and company goals.

Collaboration with Global, Local, Sales, and Product Management

  • You work closely with the CSMO, Product Management, Sales, the global Sales Units, local marketing teams, and Managing Directors.
  • You ensure that global campaigns and central content can be adopted locally in a way that is relevant, understandable, and effective.
  • You provide functional guidance to local marketing roles, strengthen knowledge transfer, and further develop international marketing competence.
  • You mediate conflicting priorities, prioritize topics, and create clarity within a globally connected organization.
  • You bring people, topics, and systems together – so that marketing doesn't operate in silos, but functions as a global operating system.

Experience & professional background

  • You hold a completed degree or comparable qualification in marketing, business administration, communications, media, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • You bring more than 10 years of marketing experience, ideally in a B2B, technology, or industrial environment.
  • You have already taken on at least 5 years of leadership responsibility and successfully led or developed a marketing team.
  • You are familiar with modern marketing structures spanning strategy, campaigns, content, digital, events, brand, performance, CRM, marketing automation, and marketing operations.
  • You have solid experience with CRM systems, marketing automation, lead management, and digital marketing processes.
  • You understand marketing and sales processes and know how marketing effectively contributes to the funnel, market activities, and growth.
  • You understand technically complex B2B technologies, or you have the ambition to quickly get up to speed on topics such as industrial automation, industrial communication, IIoT, cybersecurity, or embedded communication.
  • You have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
