Our Purchasing Team in Hattersheim am Main is looking for a Buyer for Indirect Materials & Services (m/f/d).

Troubleshooting and technical support:
Quick and efficient troubleshooting of technical issues that arise during the design-in process.
Provide ongoing technical support and advice throughout the product lifecycle.

Feedback and continuous improvement:
Collecting and analysing customer feedback on products.
Forwarding relevant findings to the product management and development team for continuous product improvement

Market observation and technological trends:
Monitoring current market trends and technological developments to ensure that the solutions offered remain current and competitive.
Make recommendations for product development based on market analyses and customer feedback. make strategic recommendations

Product management: 
Work closely with product management and local teams to ensure product offerings meet the needs of the European market

Reporting: 
Consolidate and prepare sales figures, market analyses and strategic initiatives from the various sales companies and report regularly to Head of RMM EMEA

Brand ambassador: 
Representing the company at regional and international trade fairs, conferences and other events

Accompanying, initiating, conducting and concluding sales negotiations

Organising/monitoring/managing your own tasks/appointments in collaboration with other departments

 

The Purchasing team is a dynamic and dedicated group of professionals who specialise in sourcing the best products and services for our company. Our aim is to maximise the quality and efficiency of our procurement processes through strategic purchasing decisions and close collaboration with suppliers.

Professional qualifications
  • Ideally, you have knowledge and professional experience in the area mentioned and have successfully completed training as an industrial clerk or have a degree in business administration
  • At least three years of professional experience with a focus on purchasing / procurement / supply chain
  • You are a team player, analytical, meticulous, reliable, independent and solution-oriented
  • You have good MS Office skills and experience of working with ERP systems
  • You want to make a difference, are interested in our products and enjoy working with people
  • You have a very good knowledge of German and basic knowledge of English

  • Independent implementation and control of purchasing activities
  • Interface function to internal and external stakeholders
  • Optimisation of procurement processes and digitalisation
  • Selecting, qualifying and evaluating existing and new suppliers and monitoring the procurement market
  • Further development and optimisation of existing supplier relationships, taking into account changing market situations
  • Supply chain monitoring and active risk management
  • Price and contract negotiations for key product groups (framework and service agreements)
  • Identification and realisation of potential savings
  • Development and definition of the strategic orientation of the main product groups and their operational implementation
  • Product group management
  • Realisation of various purchasing projects
  • Support in vehicle fleet management, with the prospect of taking over this area
