Hilscher Obtains ISO/IEC 27001 Certification and Strengthens Information Security

Hattersheim, 10 August 2026 – Hilscher Gesellschaft für Systemautomation mbH has successfully completed the certification of its information security management system (ISMS) according to ISO/IEC 27001.

The audit was conducted by the German Society for the Certification of Management Systems (DQS) at the company headquarters in Hattersheim. Hilscher was supported in the certification process by the consultancy TÜV Rheinland i-sec GmbH.

The certification confirms that Hilscher systematically protects information assets, evaluates risks in a structured manner, and continuously develops information security measures. At the same time, it creates an important basis for the increasing regulatory requirements placed on companies, for example through the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the NIS2 Directive.

ISO/IEC 27001 is the internationally leading standard for the introduction of an information security management system (ISMS). The standard supports companies in systematically identifying, assessing, and managing risks to their information processes. The focus is on:

• Integrity: Data must remain correct and unchanged.
• Availability: Information and systems must always be available when needed.
