Teleconnect and Hilscher Enter Development Partnership for High-Performance netX Integrations
Hattersheim, 11 June 2026 – Teleconnect GmbH and Hilscher Gesellschaft für Systemautomation mbH have entered into a strategic development partnership to realize customer projects based on Hilscher technology.
The goal of the cooperation is to integrate Hilscher’s netX technology into Teleconnect’s scalable communication platforms. Besides multiprotocol-capable network integrations, the focus is also on safety applications as well as Single Pair Ethernet developments.
By using Hilscher’s netX communication processors, especially the netX 90 and upcoming high-performance controller-capable technologies, the development of gateway products is set to accelerate and expand. These solutions enable flexible integration of a wide range of industrial communication standards such as PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, CANopen, and Modbus TCP.
The partnership also focuses on implementing cybersecurity requirements from the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), IEC 62443, and safety-oriented architectures up to Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL 3).
The partnership with Hilscher and the use of netX technology give us the opportunity to integrate fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet technologies even more efficiently into our customers’ gateway applications in manufacturing, energy, and mobility. Especially when it comes to extending field communication over long distances or integrating broadband transmission technologies such as Single Pair Ethernet, Nessum, or G.hn, entirely new fields of application are opening up.
