PROFINET Training

Understanding the Real-Time Ethernet Protocol, Connecting and Operating Devices

In this training, the essential principles of the PROFINET standards are taught. The workshop will then primarily focus on the Hilscher protocol stack, including its features, functions, and the user application interface.
During practical exercises, a PROFINET Controller/Device system will be commissioned. This training is suitable for users of the LFW model (Firmware to Load) with netX as a companion chip. The practical exercises will be conducted using an NXHX 90 evaluation board, the corresponding Hilscher PROFINET Device Firmware, and a Hilscher PROFINET Controller.

The goal of this workshop is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of PROFINET and practical skills for working with this communication protocol in industrial automation technology.
