The netX 90 is one of the world’s smallest multi-protocol communication processors for industrial devices with fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet connectivity. In this seminar, participants will receive a technical overview of the Hilscher netX chip portfolio and its strategic roadmap.
Using the netX 90 as an example, the architecture, key features, and available interfaces will be presented. In addition, you will learn which fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet protocols are supported and which security features are available for modern industrial applications – including support for regulatory requirements such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
Another focus of the seminar is the netX software ecosystem. The firmware-based approach used by Hilscher will be explained and compared with traditional stack-based solutions. This provides insight into the unique characteristics of the netX approach and its advantages for industrial device development.
You will learn, among other things:
- how the netX chip portfolio is structured and what the strategic roadmap looks like
- which architecture, features, and interfaces the netX 90 provides
- which fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet protocols are supported
- which security features are available and how regulatory requirements can be addressed
- the advantages of the netX firmware-based approach compared to traditional software stacks
