SPE Media Switch wins Innovative Product award in Shanghai
Hattersheim, 06. Feb. 2025 – The SPE Media Switch by Hilscher has won the Innovative Product award at the 19th MM Modern Manufacturing - New Automation Forum. The jury particularly emphasized that the new SPE device is a “fast and efficient method” for providing additional sensor data from the field, e.g. to a PLC, on the basis of SPE technology. Additional sensors can also be integrated into existing systems without burdening their control network. According to the publisher, this would increase the possible application scenarios for IIoT applications such as predictive maintenance.
The event’ organizers Institute of Machinery Industry Information and Modern Manufacturing Magazine (MaschinenMarkt – Vogel) also awarded prizes in two other categories: The AI Application Innovation Award and the Intelligent Solution Award. The grand award ceremony was held on 23rd September 2024 at the ‘19th MM Modern Manufacturing - New Automation Forum’ in Shanghai.
