Given our continued growth, we are always looking for talent to work with us to shape the future of industrial communication. We are currently looking for several positions for our service department to support our product range (e.g. the netX or the IIoT Cloud products) for the earliest possible start date at the Hattersheim am Main site to work as Technical Customer Service Agents (m/f/d).

What would be your responsibilities?

Our service department has a very diverse remit. It extends from hardware design-in to drivers and software development, with involvement in improving our products right through to holding training courses and supporting sales. We therefore offer you an exciting opportunity to shape the role to your own individual strengths and preferences and develop yourself through continuous learning.

The basic tasks can be summarized as follows:

  • Support national and international customers in the use of our products (such as our arm Cortex-based micro-chip netX or in the IIoT Cloud sector)
  • Fault analysis and reproduction as well as testing
  • Supervising embedded hardware and software development and participating in the latter
  • Independent development of sample applications
  • Independent implementation of services and support of projects in direct dialog with our clients
  • Technical advice and holding training courses and workshops in German and English

What ideally do you bring to the role?

Your basic skills:

  • You will have successfully completed a degree in automation, information technology, electrical engineering, physics or hold a similar qualification/references.
  • Programming knowledge in one or more languages, such as C / C++, Java or JavaScript
  • Have experience of embedded and hardware-related software development
  • Good communication skills and a confident approach with clients
  • Fluent business German (at least at B2 level) and fluent written and spoken English

If your particular interest is to support our cloud-based products, you will have relevant professional experience in this area and will also be very familiar with the use of Node.js and the administration of server environments. You will also have had some exposure to MQTT, OPC-UA, JSON, certificate handling and Open industry 4.0.
