You will spend time in each of the various departments of our production process during your apprenticeship:
- Production Assembly
- SMD production
- Inspection & Repair
To enable you to gain a more detailed insight, you also have the opportunity to work in the following departments for a few weeks:
- Hardware development
- Test equipment
At Hilscher, you will therefore spend your apprenticeship in different departments – variety is guaranteed.
You will be involved in the day-to-day business right from the start and play an active role. Our colleagues will pass on all their expert knowledge to you in step with actual practice and are always on hand to help with any questions. Moreover, you will learn to work as part of a team and to take responsibility.
Several of our production departments work an early or a late shift. In other respects, however, you will benefit from our system of flexible working with set core hours. Regular exhibition visits will give you an insight into the latest machine technology. You don’t need to worry about the costs of your textbooks, as we will meet those for you. In addition, you will be prepared for your interim and final examination with an internal preparatory examination.
Your apprenticeship will take 3.5 years.
You will attend vocational school alongside your apprenticeship that will prepare you for your interim and final written examination. We have been working successfully together with the Friedrich-Ebert school in Wiesbaden for a number of years.
We are looking for outgoing, bright individuals with a thirst for knowledge, who see their future in a technical environment. Our junior employees should count initiative, the ability to work well as part of a team, reliability and attention to detail among their personal qualities. You should enjoy new challenges and meet them with motivation, be happy to have a laugh and tackle work with enthusiasm. In addition, as a soon-to-be electronics technician for devices and systems, you should be enthusiastic about the latest technology and be comfortable working with your hands.
To be accepted for the apprenticeship, we expect you to have successfully completed high school with good grades in maths, German, physics and English.
Then take the first step towards a promising future and email your application to our contact in the HR department. For us, an informative application will include a covering letter, your CV and the latest educational certificates and job experience or possibly even work references.
We look forward to receiving your application.
