Hattersheim, 22. May 2025 – The Chinese Association of Automation (CAA) has honored the real-time Ethernet gateway netTAP 151-RE-RE with the User Trusted Product Award. The award was accepted in mid-April by the team led by Managing Director Hongqing Yang of Hilscher Systemautomation (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.. At the same time, the Hilscher team from Shanghai also received the China Automation Industry Innovation and Growth Enterprise of the Year award from the CAA.
The award ceremony took place during the China Automation Industry Annual Conference (CAIAC) 2025 in Beijing. More than 200 industry experts, executives, and user representatives gathered to discuss how the Chinese automation industry can contribute to increasing industrial productivity and promote the development of industrial intelligence, digitalization, and sustainability.
Hilscher China Already Honored for SPE Media Switch
This is the second award for Hilscher in China within a short period. Back in April, the company and its new SPE Media Switch received the Innovative Product Award at the 19th MM Modern Manufacturing - New Automation Forum. The jury particularly emphasized that the new SPE device is a “fast and efficient method” to provide additional sensor data from the field, e.g., to a PLC, based on SPE technology.

The Chinese Association of Automation (CAA) was founded in 1961 and is a major social institution promoting automation, information, and intelligence technologies in China. The CAA brings together around 50,000 individual members and over 200 institutional members. It operates 67 technical committees, 12 working committees, 61 science and education outreach institutions, and 23 service centers.
The CAA has received multiple honors, including as an Advanced Association for Party Construction and as an Advanced Collective of the China Association for Science and Technology System. In 2021, it was awarded the title of "National Advanced Social Organization" by the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs.
