Hilscher: Hilscher welcomes LCM as a new integration partner from Austria

Linz, 25. Nov. 2024 – Linz Center of Mechatronics GmbH (LCM), a leading research and development service provider for networked and autonomous systems as well as machines and plants, and Hilscher Gesellschaft für Systemautomation mbH, market leader for industrial communication solutions, have entered into a strategic partnership. This will combine the technical expertise of both companies to develop even more advanced industrial communication and automation solutions.

LCM acts as an experienced integration partner in this collaboration and supports users of Hilscher products in the implementation of automation projects in fieldbus and industrial Ethernet systems as well as in the Industrial IoT (IIoT). With in-depth expertise in industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET, EtherCAT or Modbus/TCP, LCM is able to develop customized solutions for a wide range of industrial applications.

Flexible and secure communication with LCM and netX

Hilscher's communication solutions are a flexible and secure platform for LCM to efficiently network components in almost all common network standards, from fieldbuses and industrial Ethernet networks to new standards such as OPC UA and MQTT, and to implement complex controls in real time.

LCM integrates netX 90

As a research and development service provider, LCM focuses primarily on supporting users in the integration of Hilscher's netX communication controllers. This includes netX-90-based projects in the field of sensors, actuators and control technology. These must be adapted to the functional requirements of the respective end products, which includes both the communication between the devices and the connection to cloud systems. In this way, LCM and Hilscher are jointly creating the basis for a networked and intelligent industrial environment.
