We are a dedicated and witty product management team that presently consists of eight col-leagues in charge of four key areas: communication, semiconductors, sensor to cloud and product administration. With a clear focus on business, we're currently in the process of making Hilscher’s product management future proof, and have already taken great strides over the past few months. The work we do on a daily basis is both exciting and varied. A flat hierarchy lets us make quick deci-sions, and gives us freedom to be innovative and think creatively.

Due to our constant growth and cutting-edge technologies, such as TSN, OPCUA FLC or SPE, we're looking for a new team member to continue expanding the gateway product range and someone who is eager to contribute to shaping the future of Hilscher. As a member of our Product Manage-ment Team, you, as Product Manager Gateways, will be responsible for the netTAP, netLINK, netHOST and netSWITCH product families.

 

Are you right for the job?

You are...

  • An organizer and driving force: Responsible for the entire product lifecycle from the stage of defining products to developing them and placing them on the market, as well as taking care of the technical and marketing sides of the products managed. Your proactive and structured method of working will assist you in the process, along with your propensity to want to take responsibility for your work results.
  • A pioneer and entrepreneur: When drawing up the product vision and roadmaps, as well as specific requirement profiles for the next few product generations, e.g., for Single-Pair-Ethernet, TSN Gi-gabit, OPC UA pub/sub and security technologies, you always keep an eye on the market and have a good feeling for the wishes and needs of our users.
  • A trend setter and analyst: You evaluate innovative technological trends and product ideas from all angles, and allow technical, as well as commercial and marketing aspects to flow into your in-depth analyses and business cases. Ideally, you are assisted by your experience in the fields of industry, automation technology and (real-time) communication protocols.
  • A key contact: Your role includes many interfaces to other corporate departments. Along with the colleagues from the Marketing and Sales Departments, you work on product-related marketing activities, as well as those from Development and Support, on technical solutions and features. Transparency and strong verbal and written communication form an important part of your work for us.
  • A representative and expert: As a representative of the ‘Gateways’ product group, you actively cooperate in trade fairs and get involved in industry events, assisting the Sales Department as an expert, with your product expertise. Your important responsibilities also include internal and exter-nal product seminars and events.
