Currently we're looking for someone to join our netX team in Hattersheim am Main as an Embedded Software Application Engineer (SoC).

Your new challenge
  • Supporting our national and international customers in using our ARM Cortex-based microchips
  • Analyzing, reproducing and testing for errors
  • Processing customers' technical inquiries via our ticket system
  • Support of and collaboration on embedded hardware and software development pro-jects
  • Independently creating and maintaining sample applications and their respective documentation
  • Supporting our Distribution Department by giving competent technical advice to cus-tomers, both on site and over the phone

The responsibilities of our netX service technicians are multifaceted. They range from hard-ware and microchip design, to driver and software development, as well as training and sales support at both the archi-tecture level and implementation level.

This gives you the opportunity to shape your own area of responsibility according to your own individual interests and strengths, and enables you to advance your professional skills through continuous learning.

 

Your ideal profile will include
  • A degree in automation technology, computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or similar.
  • Professional experience in embedded applications or hardware-oriented software development
  • Programming knowledge in C / C++
  • Experience with electronic instruments such as oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers is preferred
  • Experience with common interfaces (Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN) is preferred
  • Knowledge of SVN or GIT is preferred
  • Knowledge of process and project tracking tools (e.g. JIRA/Atlassian) is preferred
  • Proficiency in German or English, both spoken and written
  • Good communication skills and a confident demeanor towards customers
