netTAP 100: Universal Gateway

Ever had that feeling there are too many different protocols on your plant? Ever wished you could snap your fingers and link different data streams by magic? With our netTAP 100 module you can! It's our most flexible gateway yet, with nearly 1000 protocol combinations possible! netTAP 100 can link major fieldbuses with real time Industrial Ethernets ... and either of those with a serial protocol! You can even use it to write your own serial protocol in as little as a few hours using netSCRIPT, our scripting tool. The standard module is available with master and slave protocols on either side and the following protocols are supported:

The configuration tool is FDT/DTM-based for ease of use, ensuring you're up and running with the minimum of fuss. A standard USB port is used for configuration, for loading network firmware and for diagnostics. netTAP 100 also supports both Flash and SD cards for easy storage, duplication and transfer of configuration data to other gateway modules.

Build your own gateway module!

Hilscher's gateway solutions are built around our highly versatile netX chip, which can be used in any of our standard hardware connectors to create your own serial, Ethernet or fieldbus interfaces. We supply the hardware, plus the gateway task with one protocol stack, and you develop your own stack on the other port.
